Yay TV!

Annie incited me to contribute to this blog and I am very excited because in lieu of any exciting social life I have chosen to have a very meaningful relationship with DVR. Because of this miraculous invention, I can record all my various shows and watch them at my convenience.

Monday
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Dancing with the Stars (I fast forward through all, but the actual dances and the scores)
Tuesday
  • House
  • Law and Order: Special Victims Unit
Wednesday
  • Bones
  • Criminal Minds (absolute favorite, far and away! my TV husband is on this show)
Thursday
  • The Office
  • My Name is Earl
  • Grey's Anatomy (maybe; lost interest last season)
  • ER (got to be there for the last season)
Friday
  • Psych (not on right now, but it will be back in January)
  • Starter Wife (new!)
Sunday
  • Army Wives (summer show, but still on for now)
There are some other new shows, or new to me shows that I will try out, but these are the ones I will hit most often.

Journeyman RIP

Thank you striking writers for causing one of the best shows of late to be "not picked up" for anymore episodes. I was a ruluctant follower, but got sucked into it. I was thinking "Yeah, I liked it the first time when it was called 'Quantum Leap'". I was wrong and I'll admit it here.

So, we'll have to only imagine, that the brothers joined forces for good, and became the best of friends, and everyone got over the fact that they shared a woman at one point. But isn't San Francisco a beautiful city. To see more of the city, watch Eli Stone on ABC. It's cute and clever in a different way.

Pushing Daisies Fun

Ok, Ned the Pie Man brings you back to life. You have sixty seconds before you are dead forever. What do you have to say?

Go.

Pushing Daisies - Season One DVD

It's out go get it, watch it, get up to speed. New season starts October 1st. If you haven't been watching. Do it now. You must watch this, you must. I beg you. This show is awesome. 12 Emmy nominations should say something.

What are you doing still sitting here, go get that DVD

The Unit

The next season of The Unit premeires on CBS Sunday, September 28. 10/9 Central and Mountain. You can catch up on what you don't remember here. As a reminder to those of you who DVR things, CBS has football, and football often goes over its allotted time, to be on the safe side, DVR everything until midnight on Sunday.

But for those of you who want a brief recap, Hector catches the colonel and Tiffy at their hotel, a couple of episodes later he's killed by a sniper. Coincidence? Maybe.

The girls have uncovered a secret about Molly, they confront her with it, and end up vowing to keep her secret.

According to commercials and previews, Tiffy's husband finds out about her and the colonel. Everyone gets taken into the military version of witness protection. Should be exciting.
